So what can you do for me at Inter City?

We're glad that you have asked this question because we've been bursting to tell you!

Firstly, we've been arranging buy to let mortgages for a long time, so we know what we are talking about.  We are quite happy to set our knowledge of the market against that of any other - whoever they might be.

We do not lend mortgage money ourselves, of course, our job is to find the most suitable buy to let mortgage for you, according to your own individual circumstances and requirements.

We are in touch daily with every mortgage lender who operates in the buy to let market.  Many are household name building societies,  some are lenders you have never heard of.  We have access to every one of them, we have computerised sourcing systems which will take us to every one of them and their products, and often more important than this - we have daily experience of dealing with the lenders and their products, we know without asking who does what, we know about their quirks and foibles, the small print they use, the type of borrowers they like and don't like ... the thousand and one little things that only experience in the market can reveal.

And we have that experience in abundance ...

You have a couple of choices when all is said and done.

Go to every Building Society and other lender in the country (there are about 120 or so at the last count!).  Ask them if they arrange 'buy to let mortgages' and if they do, what are their terms, who do they lend to, what are their interest rates and how do they calculate them, how much will they lend, what income proof do they want, do they take my other mortgage costs into account ... or, if you are a 'surfer' ... search the many web sites that seem to offer out of this world deals and ask the same questions (come to think of it, have you ever tried asking questions of a web site!?).
